The 8th Meeting of the University Council of Urgench State University Named After Abu Rayhan Beruni Was Held
✅ Today, on March 28, the next meeting of the University Council was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni. The Council meeting was chaired by the Acting Rector of the University, Mr. S. Khodjaniyazov, and attended by the Council members.
At the beginning of the session, in accordance with tradition, the Chair of the Council acknowledged the achievements of the university community. In particular, diplomas were awarded to professors and teachers who obtained DSc (Doctor of Science) and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degrees, and wishes for continued success in their academic endeavors were expressed.
Following that, the Council listened to reports and information provided by responsible parties on the issues included in the agenda of the 8th session.
Additionally, Ms. Kh. Shikhova, Head of the “Compliance Control” Department for Combating Corruption, provided information about the department's activities and the measures being taken at Urgench State University to identify and prevent potential conflicts of interest in a timely manner.
Various other matters and elections were also included in the Council's agenda.
