Currently, a delegation from the Faculty of Foreign Philology at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, led by the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, R.Abidova, along with a group of talented students accompanied by department head S.Allanazarova, is visiting Gansu Agricultural University in China. The visit aims to participate in educational and practical training courses, enhance qualifications, and exchange experiences.
As part of the visit, the delegation explored innovative learning environments, including a VR (Virtual Reality) classroom designed for situational English language lessons and the International Education Virtual Simulation Laboratory at the university.
In addition, the guests took part in traditional Chinese wellness practices organized by Gansu University, such as Baduanjin (Qigong) exercises. These physical activities are valued not only for their health benefits but also for promoting mental calmness and awakening inner energy.
In the afternoon, the UrSU delegation visited the Dunhuang Art Museum, where they had the opportunity to explore exhibits showcasing China’s cultural heritage, historical artworks, and artifacts related to the ancient Silk Road civilization.
To conclude their visit, the delegation attended a cultural event organized by students of Gansu University. The event featured creative performances, music, and dance programs, leaving a strong impression on the guests. This cultural exchange helped strengthen the dialogue and friendship between the youth of Uzbekistan and China.
