From June 2 to June 14, 2025, students of the “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” and “Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre” programs at the Faculty of Engineering of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni are successfully undergoing geodetic field training at the educational field polygon of the Yangiariq Construction and Transport Technical College, affiliated with the university.
Today, the Acting Rector of the University, S.Khodjaniyozov, visited the technical college together with the Head of the Department of Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre, S.Avezov, to observe the organization of the training process and the conditions provided for students.
During the visit, they observed the students' practical sessions, got acquainted with their activities, and held an open and sincere conversation with them. The practice supervisors provided detailed information about the training process and student participation. The Director of the Yangiariq Construction and Transport Technical College, Sh.Khudaybergenov, also highly praised the students’ active involvement and shared his thoughts on further developing academic and practical cooperation with the university.
At the end of the visit, the delegation familiarized themselves with the facilities and conditions of the technical college.
