Delegation from Kyungbuk College of Korea Conducts

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Urgench State University and Kyungbuk College of South Korea, a delegation consisting of 14 students led by Professor Kim Kyung Hwan visited the university on June 18.

The visit began with a meeting between Kyungbuk College’s professor Kim Kyung Hwan and Acting Rector of the University, Sardor Khodjaniyazov. During the meeting, they discussed the university’s partnerships with Korean higher education institutions, including the "Korean Culture Week" that was held in February this year. Professor Kim Kyung Hwan acknowledged the students’ strong interest in learning the Korean language and expressed a desire to further strengthen collaboration between the universities.

The main goal of this visit was to deepen mutual cooperation, and as part of the program, the Korean guests conducted "K-Art" and "K-Health" sessions for Urgench State University students. It is worth noting that through the "K-Art" classes, students became closely acquainted with Korean culture and K-Pop games, while the "K-Health" sessions provided them with practical skills related to Korean health practices.

Our students participated in these activities with great enthusiasm and gained a wealth of new knowledge about Korean culture. Collaborations of this kind serve to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two nations.
