Today, on July 9, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, a “Career Day” job fair and “Business Marathon” seminar-trainings were held with the aim of increasing youth employment and engaging them in entrepreneurship.
The main goal of the event was to help students and young professionals find employment in line with market demands and to enhance their professional potential. Dozens of companies and organizations from the region participated in the job fair, offering hundreds of job vacancies.
The “Business Marathon” was officially opened with welcoming remarks by Deputy Governor of the region S.Salayev and the acting rector of the university S.Khodjaniyazov. They emphasized that business marathons are an important part of the modern economy, promoting innovation, supporting the growth of new businesses, and contributing to the economic well-being of the country.
During the training session, successful and well-known entrepreneurs such as D.Khojiyev, head of “New Best Style” LLC; Sh. Sobirov, head of “Data Union” LLC; F. Quranbayev, head of the family enterprise “Tilla Domor”; and Sh. Yuldasheva, head of the family medical center “Sevinch Medical Centre,” participated and shared their knowledge and experience with the youth.
Participants of the seminar gained practical skills in business creation, financial management, startup development, and implementation of innovations.
University graduates actively participated in the seminar-training, receiving answers to their questions and having the opportunity to discuss their business ideas and plans. The event was focused on enhancing the entrepreneurial potential of young people and opening doors to new opportunities.
This “Business Marathon” served as an important step in encouraging youth to start their own ventures, helping them adapt to modern market demands, and increasing their employment prospects.
