Today, on July 10, at the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, sports competitions were held as part of the “Important 90 Days” project. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, make their free time more meaningful, and increase their interest in sports.
Alongside university students, a group of active youth from 37 neighborhoods of Urgench city also participated in the competitions. They competed in various sports including chess, checkers, table tennis, and volleyball. The contests were conducted in an atmosphere of friendly competition, mutual respect, and teamwork.
The results of the competitions are as follows:
1st place – Team of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences;
2nd place – Team of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics;
3rd place – Teams of youth from “Feruz” and “Hamjihatlik” neighborhoods.
The most active and initiative participants of the competition were awarded valuable souvenirs by UrSU First Vice-Rector D.Ibadullaev, Rector's Advisor A.Shakarov, and Head of the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality, and Enlightenment Sh.Allaberganov. The enthusiasm and strong interest of the youth in sports were highly praised.
