A seminar on "Legislation and sustainable consumption models in sustainable development and development of touristic neighborhoods and Mennonite tourist complex" has started at Urganch State University, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, scheduled for June 15-17, 2023.
The opening ceremony of the seminar was held today. Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Khodjaniyozov spoke and discussed in detail the reforms aimed at the further development of the tourism sector in Khorezm and the work being done in this regard at Urganch State University.
Representatives of tourist enterprises operating in the field of tourism of Khorezm region, scientific researchers and students are participating in the seminar.
