At the moment, the second day of the traditional "Melon Carnival" is about to begin in the ancient and ever popular city of Khiva, which is considered the jewel of the East.
Foreigners and guests from different regions of our republic who visited the carnival, as well as representatives of mass media, pay attention to the pavilion of Urganch State University. They are showing great interest in products made from melons and various citrus crops.
Today, the winners of the stand will be determined and awarded with special gifts from the regional governor.
A gala concert dedicated to the closing ceremony will be held in the evening. Many well-known artists of our republic and abroad will take part in it.
