On August 5, 2023, approved by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Z.Mahkamova, set of tasks were given in the paragraph 8 "Attaching professors and teachers to conduct spiritual and educational activities in neighborhoods of higher educational institutions" of the "program of measures aimed at combating violations and crime among women, organizing spiritual and educational measures to prevent radicalization, increasing social activity in society".
In this regard, today, August 21, in the Palace of Culture of the university, in cooperation with the Khorezm regional office of the State Committee for Family and Women and the Advisory Council on Women's Issues of Urganch State University, Urganch district and city, Khiva district and city, and an educational seminar was organized with the participation of women's activists of Kushkupir district.
At the educational seminar, associate professor of the "History" department of the Faculty of History, Sh.Nurullayeva, head of the "Compliance-control" system management department H.Shihova, senior teacher of the "History" department, Phd. D. Atayeva, UrSU psychologist M. Avezova made lectures on "The tasks of women's activists in ensuring women's and children's rights and gender equality", "Mechanisms of women's activists in the neighborhood for the implementation of tasks defined in regulatory legal documents", "National, the role of spiritual and moral values in the strength of the family", "Providing psychological support to families and promotion of a healthy lifestyle", "Organizing the study of social problems in neighborhoods by women and girls activists, provision of social services and the procedure for coordinating the activities of public structures" respectively.
At the end of the lecture, the questions raised by women's activists were answered in detail.
