MEETING OF UZBEKISTAN-TURKEY HISTORIANS

Today, on December 13, Urgench State University is hosting the "Meeting of Uzbekistan-Turkey historians" seminar.

It should be said that Uzbekistan and Turkey, two brotherly peoples, have historically been close friends and colleagues. Especially, the interest of Turkish scientists in the history of Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, and their desire to make a great contribution to enriching the unopened pages of our history with new scientific innovations, scientifically strengthens the long-standing friendship ties.

At the seminar Prof. from Istanbul University of Turkey, Dr. Dincher Koch and Kurshat Yildirim, from Aydin University of Istanbul, Doc.Dr. Elvin Yildirim and Doc.Dr. Yildirim also from Boyazit University of Ankara, Tuba Tombuloglu is participating. Also, historical researchers of our region, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences of Urgench State University, scientists of the "History" department and students of the faculty are participating in the meeting of international historians.

The rector of Urgench State University, Bahrom Abdullayev, took part in the opening ceremony of the meeting, and in his speech, he emphasized the strong interest in the history of Central Asia in Turkey. He noted that the Turkish scientists participating in this conference are not only participants, but also strong partners in this field, making a great contribution to enriching the unopened pages of our history with new scientific innovations. At the end of his speech, he thanked all the participants and wished success in the work of the conference.

The meeting of historians and scientists will discuss the extensive research conducted by our Turkish guests on the topics of "Pre-Islamic Turkish History Research in Turkey", "Research on Khorezmshahs and Timurids in Turkey", "Research on Central Asian Archeology in Turkey" and "Research on Turkestan Khanates in Turkey" continued with extensive lectures.
