Today, Urgench State University held a commemorative tournament in mathematics between secondary school students. This tournament was dedicated to the memory of Ismail Abdullayev, a mathematician, candidate of physics-mathematical sciences, associate professor, who worked effectively at UrSU for many years.
Talented and interested students from all schools of the region took part in it and solved Olympiad problems in the first half of the day. In the afternoon, the university held a prize-giving ceremony and announced the winners of the Olympiad.
It should be noted that the results of the Olympiad were evaluated for A-group (5-6 grades), B-group (7-8 grades), C-group (9-10 grades) and D-group (UrSU students).
Diplomas and souvenirs of the university rector were awarded to all the winners, as well as letters of thanks to the teachers of the Olympiad participants.
