Today, on April 28, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Priority directions of complex socio-economic development of the region" has started at Urganch State University on the initiative of the Faculty of Economics.
In addition to professors and teachers of the Faculty of Economics, doctoral students, masters and students, economists of our country, professors and candidates of sciences from higher educational institutions of foreign countries such as Malaysia, Spain, Germany, Italy, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Azerbaijan are participating in it.
The international conference was organized in 9 branches and a total of 80 articles were accepted.
The conference, moderated by dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ph.D., prof. I.Abdullayev, was hosted by UrSU vice-rector for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Z. Ibragimov opened the conference with an introductory speech and wished progress to the work.
At the plenary session of the conference, a researcher of the Department of Agricultural Markets, Marketing and World Agricultural Trade, representative of the The Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO; Germany) Dr. Ikhtiyor Bobojonov on the topic "Increasing climate resilience through agricultural insurance", candidate of economics, senior lecturer of the "Economics and Management" department, representative of Elabuga Institute Institute of Kazan (Volga) Federal University (Russia) Akhmetshin Elvir on the topic "Munirovich in the conditions of digital transformation approaches to the management of the infrastructure of universities in the region", candidate of economic sciences, "State Management University", head of the department of management in the field of culture, cinema, television and entertainment industry of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education (Moscow, Russian Federation) Yulia Vorontsova Vladimirovna on the topic "Development of regions based on the creation of a platform for interregional network interaction in a single digital space", professor of Urganch State University, Ph.D. Bakhtiyor Ruzmetov on the topic "Methodology of comprehensive development of regional economy" and professor of Urganch State University, Ph.D. Tangribergan Doschanov gave lectures on topics such as "Forecasting the priorities for the introduction of innovative medical services in the Khorezm region". Also, through the Zoom program, the opinions of professors from Malaysia and Italy were heard.
The international scientific and practical conference was held in Uzbek, Russian and English languages.
The conference will continue its work tomorrow, April 29, divided into branches.
