On May 20-24, 2023, the French Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ms. Aurelia Bouchez visited Urganch State University as part of her visit to the Khorezm region. After the university leadership welcomed her, mutual negotiations took place.
At the meeting with the French Ambassador Aurelia Bouchez, Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region Sherzod Ismailov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of UrSU Sardor Khodjaniyozov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Ghairat Orazboyev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Zafar Ibragimov, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Zahid Jumaniozov and professors and teachers of the "Romano-Germanic Philology" department took part.
During the negotiation, cooperation relations between our countries in many fields, especially in the field of education, were touched upon.
The French ambassador emphasized that Uzbek students have the opportunity to receive higher education in France in all specialties in French.
The leadership of UrSU gave Ms. Aurelia Bouchez detailed information about the current activities of Urganch State University, its scientific potential, international cooperation relations, in particular, prospective cooperation relations with French higher education institutions.
During the official meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation development.
At the end of the meeting, guests were given souvenirs.
