Zafarbek Ibragimov, the vice-rector for research and innovations of Urganch State University, was on a business trip to this country on June 13-15, 2023, at the invitation of professor Saburi Haruo, president of Nagoya University of Economics, Japan.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the university's management led by the president of this university, professor Saburi Haruo. It discussed issues such as developing cooperation between Urganch State University and Nagoya University of Economics, organizing virtual mobility for students, organizing a webinar for professors and teachers, and implementing a project in cooperation on the development of tourism in Uzbekistan. it was agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the university.
Also, a meeting was held with the head of ISHIMURA Educational Institutions cluster (Nagoya University of Economics belongs to this cluster), chairman of the supervisory board, Mr. Hitoshi Sueoka. Japanese experience was shared on how to organize, develop and manage an educational cluster in Japan.
Vice-rector Zafarbek Ibragimov got to know the conditions created for students at Nagoya University of Economics, as well as the university's departments, library and management systems. He met and talked with Uzbek students and professors studying at the university.
During the trip, he visited some tourism facilities in order to witness the development of tourism in Nagoya and to get acquainted with the organization of tourism in villages.
