Today, on October 19, the "Global Education Forum" is being held within the framework of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in the congress center of the Silk road tourist complex of Samarkand region.
Among the representatives of the republic's higher and professional educational institutions, the Rector of Urganch State University B.Abdullayev, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Khodjaniyozov, the Head of the "Tourism" Department B.Ollanazarov and professors-teachers of the department, within the field of scientific - doctoral students and students conducting research are participating.
Within the framework of the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two universities by Bakhrom Abdullayev, rector of UrSU, and Kultay Adilova, vice-rector for educational and scientific affairs of International University of Tourism and Hospitality of Kazakhstan. This memorandum envisages cooperation in academic exchange, research and other areas, joint internships, seminars, conferences and cultural events.
