From November 3 to 10 of this year, the "18th interdisciplinary colloquium on proverbs" international conference is being held in Tavira, Portugal, where Dildora Artikova a doctoral candidate at the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Foreign Philology at Urgench State University, is also participating.
At this conference, the university doctoral student delivered a lecture on the topic "Women stereotyping in Uzbek proverbs" and answered questions posed by the conference participants.
Participation of university teachers in the conferences serves to further enhance the university's international reputation and provides an opportunity to exchange experiences with foreign specialists.
