The team of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni visited the University of Limpopo in South Africa

A delegation led by Z.Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, currently on a business trip to South Africa, met with the rector of the university, Professor Mahlo Makgalong, as well as the university's management and faculty deans.

The meeting considered issues of establishing cooperation between the two universities, opportunities for exchanging experience in the field of scientific research and innovation.

An agreement was signed at the meeting to establish cooperation in scientific areas, establish student and faculty exchange, jointly organize various webinars and symposia, as well as develop cooperation in the fields of mathematics and computer science, agriculture and natural sciences, linguistics, translation studies, and economics. 

This agreement was an important step in developing scientific and academic ties between the two universities, strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation, and creating opportunities to jointly conduct various scientific research.
