Today, May 28, the first day of the III International Al-Khwarizmi Mathematics Olympiad is being held at the “Yoshlik” sports complex in the Khorezm region. 57 prestigious university teams from 16 countries of the world are participating in this prestigious international Olympiad. A total of 218 students are competing in the Olympiad, seeking creative solutions to the most complex problems of mathematics.
On the first day of the Olympiad, an individual competition will be held among the participants, and on the second day, they will compete as teams. Each competition will have 5 questions and a time limit of 4 hours. 12 international experts in mathematics from different countries are monitoring and evaluating the International Olympiad as members of the jury.
The Olympiad aims to support talented students, widely involve them in fundamental and exact sciences, and expand international cooperation in science.
