Today, on June 16, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, an international scientific-practical conference titled “Scientific Innovative Technologies in the Fields of Fruit-Vegetable Growing and Viticulture” was held at the initiative of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
At this conference, professors, lecturers, and young researchers from foreign countries as well as from higher education institutions across the Republic participated both online and offline. Notably, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture from Pamukkale University in Turkey, Kurczu, and academic Karadeniz Giresun presented on “Prospects of Innovative and Resource-Saving Agricultural Technologies in Fruit Growing and Viticulture,” while Prof. Reinhard Neugschwandtner from Baku University spoke on “Introduction of Advanced Technologies in Agriculture.”
Additionally, scientists from our Republic and Urgench State University presented reports on topical subjects such as “Promising Varieties of Vegetables, Melons, and Potatoes: Past and Present,” “Innovative Agrotechnologies for Growing Vegetables and Greens in Modern Resource-Saving Greenhouses,” and “Modern Prospects for the Development of Vegetable Growing, Melon Growing, and Potato Farming.”
The conference continued its activities in the afternoon with 4 sectional meetings.
