Today, on June 24, Acting Rector of Urgench State University, S.Khodjaniyazov, along with all vice-rectors, held an open dialogue with the academic staff of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. The meeting focused on discussing a number of pressing issues aimed at further improving the faculty’s operations and enhancing the quality and efficiency of education.
During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the need to work more closely with students, strengthen their academic and practical potential, and increase their social engagement. In particular, the importance of individualized work with students who miss classes without valid reasons was highlighted.
In addition, a range of key topics were discussed, including:
Organizing high-quality internships for students;
Preparing for the new academic year;
Evaluating teaching staff performance based on the KPI system;
Assisting graduates with job placement;
Active participation in the “Step into the Future” and “Crucial 90 Days” projects;
Strengthening collaboration with international professors;
Engaging in grants and international projects;
Promoting educational exports by attracting foreign students through summer schools;
Enhancing foreign language learning at the faculty;
Forming Olympiad teams in physics, mathematics, and computer science;
Deepening scientific research activities.
Necessary instructions and recommendations were provided for effective implementation of these initiatives.
