On July 16, the Rector of Nukus State Technical University, B.Kaipbergenov, visited to Urgench State University. During the visit, an official meeting was held between the leadership of both institutions, headed by Acting Rector of UrSU, S.Khodjaniyozov. As a result of the discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two universities.
This memorandum opens new opportunities for collaboration in scientific research, faculty exchange, the organization of summer and winter schools, student internships, and joint projects. The parties also agreed to cooperate in attracting investment projects and to work together in the fields of IT, engineering, and technology.
This agreement will serve as a foundation for establishing strong academic ties between the two universities and will contribute to expanding regional cooperation — a truly significant step forward.
