At Urgench State University, the “Young Guides School” program has been launched to increase student interest in the tourism sector, develop practical guiding skills, enhance professional competence, and ensure a meaningful summer break.
These days, the student participants of the program are gaining hands-on experience by accompanying foreign guests at the “Melon Festival.”
The students are not only providing translation services but are also guiding international visitors throughout the event, assisting with navigation, and helping present Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage.
The “Young Guides School” contributes not only to the improvement of professional skills, but also to increasing youth social engagement and preparing well-qualified specialists to promote our national culture.
