On June 12, 2019, Urgench State University was visited by Minoru Nakamura - Advisor to the Secretariat, Senior Researcher, Kensaku Munenaga - Senior Researcher, Akihide Maeda - Senior Advisor for International Cooperation, Kenji Sacurai - Head of Sector of the Department for International Cooperation, Shinchi Hirano - Researcher of the Ministry Finance Japan. The Japanese delegation met with the Rector of the University B.Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Hodjaniyazov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G.Urazbaev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Ibrahimov. During the visit, Kensaku Muenanaga gave a lecture on the topic “Economic cooperation of Uzbekistan and Japan” for students of the “Economics” direction.
