On August 22 of this year, the delegation headed by Khorezm Region Governor J. Rakhimov visited the Aydin Cotton Research Institute located in Aydin, Turkey.
They got acquainted with the current activities of this scientific-research institute, in particular, with the work being carried out in the institute in order to ensure the seamless integration of science, education and production. The main task of the institute is to carry out scientific research on the improvement of the scientific and practical bases of cotton genetics, seed breeding, and agrotechnologies of cotton growing, and to develop scientific and technical products based on this.
The members of the delegation, together with the scientists of the institute, also visited the experimental fields belonging to the institute, got acquainted with the rain and drip irrigation of cotton, and had the opportunity to exchange experience.
