Welcome to the homeland of mathematics!

The CIMPA summer school from June 24 to July 5, 2024 at Urgench State University started its work today. 

CIMPA school - International Center of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics (Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées) is a French organization whose main goal is to promote the development of mathematics in the world. Every year, it organizes and finances 20 international mathematics schools around the world. Urgench State University has been cooperating with this center since 2021. 

This year, the two-week CIMPA summer school gathered well-known mathematicians and researchers from more than ten countries of the world in the homeland of Al-Khorazmi.
As noted, 10 advanced mathematicians from the USA, the European Union and Russia will give lectures and practical training to the audience from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, India, Turkey, the Philippines, and the USA.

As part of the international school, a 2-day trip and cultural events are planned to Khiva "Ichan Kala" museum-reserve and "Kalajik Kala" architectural objects, which are tourist areas of Khorezm.
