Today, a seminar was held on the topic "Comparative Study of Terminology in the Field of Country Studies (Examples from Uzbek, English, and Korean Languages)" by Sanobar Madaminovna Rahmonova, a teacher from the Department of English Language and Literature. The following information was mentioned at the seminar. Comparative study of the lexical-semantic characteristics of country studies terminology in Uzbek, English, and Korean serves to deepen the understanding of the linguistic and cultural connections between these languages. The terminology related to cultural studies in each language reflects national mentality, cultural values, and historical processes. While the English language plays a leading role in defining modern political and social concepts as a global language, the Korean language stands out with its historical roots based on the Chinese writing system and modern neologisms. Uzbek, on the other hand, is enriching its terminological base by adapting Turkic, Persian, and Arabic layers as well as modern international terms. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the formation, content, and translation issues of country studies terminology in three languages. At the seminar, all the teachers received answers to their questions on the topic.
