This morning, the second day of the traditional “Melon Festival” in the city of Khiva began with a festive atmosphere. Under the warm rays of the sun, the sweet aroma of melons fills the air, creating a truly folkloric vibe for all visitors.
The team from Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni is participating actively in the festival. Guests are getting acquainted with unique melon varieties, colorful displays, and natural, delicious products made from melons. Melon juices, jams, sweets, and other national delicacies are attracting everyone’s attention.
Foreign guests, in particular, are showing great interest in the university’s pavilion. They are praising the hospitality of the Uzbek people and the uniqueness of the national products. Visitors are not only tasting the offerings but also learning about innovative approaches to melon processing.
