In accordance with Resolution No. 17 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 11, 2022, "On the procedure for admitting graduates of technical colleges to undergraduate programs of higher education institutions based on interviews," the process of admitting technical college graduates to Urgench State University for the 2025/2026 academic year has begun.
This year, a total of 377 technical college graduates have registered for admission across 17 academic programs of the university.
Today, ahead of the interview process, the acting rector of the university, S.Khodjaniyazov, together with the Head of the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” Department, H.Shikhova, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology, A.Khudayberganov, met with the technical college graduates.
During the meeting, graduates were informed about the essence and importance of the interview process, and its role in assessing the knowledge and potential of each candidate. It was emphasized that all applicants must attend the interview in person.
In addition, during the meeting, the Compliance Control Department provided explanations on preventing corruption-related incidents and conflicts of interest.
The interviews will take place from August 12 to 14 of this year.
