Today, at the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, a meeting was held with the heads of major enterprises, organizations, and institutions — the main employers of graduates — in order to implement Presidential Decree No. PQ-61 of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to promote the employment of higher education graduates.”
The event was attended by representatives of 37 major enterprises and organizations of our region, including LLC “GURLAN GLOBAL TEKS,” LLC “TILLO DOMOR,” LLC “KHIVA SILK FABRIC,” JSC “UzAutoMotors,” LLC “URGENCH CLUSTER GROUP,” LLC “EUROTEKS,” and others. They presented available job vacancies to graduates of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies who completed their studies last academic year and are currently unemployed, as well as to current graduating students. The company representatives introduced the participants to job descriptions for the available positions. Those graduates who expressed a desire to work were offered official employment during their free time from studies. In addition, more than 30 graduates of the previous academic year were hired on the spot and signed employment contracts.
This meeting played an important role in ensuring graduate employment, effectively preparing them for the labor market, and involving them in production processes.
