Today, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, an art exhibition was organized under the motto “Uzbekistan — A Land of Tolerance” in honor of November 16 — International Day for Tolerance, reflecting the spirit of interethnic friendship and harmony.
Representatives of national and cultural centers from the region — including Kazakh, Korean, and Russian communities — showcased artworks, national costumes, and visual art pieces that embody the rich culture, art, and traditions of their peoples.
Each exhibition stand, despite the diversity of colors, styles, and tones, conveyed a single unifying idea — the spirit of friendship and tolerance.
Students from all university faculties also took an active part in this noble initiative, presenting handicrafts, national patterns, and handmade works of art they had created themselves.
This event played an important role in strengthening among young people the ideals of friendship, respect, and mutual harmony between different nations and ethnic groups, as well as in fostering appreciation for the priceless value of peace and unity that prevail in our homeland.
