Today, on November 28, at Urgench State University, an awareness-raising meeting was held with the participation of university students on the topic “Fighting Corruption – A Key Factor in the Renewal of the State and Society” in connection with the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9. The meeting aimed to take the anti-corruption efforts in higher education institutions in the region to the next level. The event was organized in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Council of Khorezm region.
The meeting was attended by P. Ro'ziyev, the responsible officer of the Anti-Corruption Council of Khorezm region, B. Qobulov, the responsible officer of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation in Khorezm, and X. Rajabov, an officer of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crime Department of the regional police, who held a conversation with students on the topic.
During the meeting, information was provided on the penalties for corruption-related offenses, and answers were given to questions raised by the students.
